Starlight Glimmer

Starlight Glimmer is one of the most complex characters in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Initially introduced as a villain who founded a cult-like village where she removed ponies' cutie marks in the name of "equality," she underwent one of the series' most compelling redemption arcs.

Her personality is marked by incredible magical talent that rivals Twilight Sparkle herself, a charismatic presence that can sway others to her cause, and a deep-seated struggle with her past mistakes. After her defeat and reformation, she became Twilight's personal student in friendship, eventually rising to become the headmare of the School of Friendship.

Starlight's lavender coat and distinctive purple and teal striped mane make her visually striking, while her cutie mark - a purple and white star with two teal glimmers - represents her exceptional magical abilities.

Starlight's entire villain origin stems from losing Sunburst when they were foals. Reconnecting with him was a crucial step in her healing, and they eventually rebuilt their friendship.
